I love how this place has a special offer, which is a plus! The meat option combined with soup was perfect! There was a wait time for sure! So just come early so you won't have to wait in line. Now, I am not sure about the chicken flavor; it was okay, but I feel like it needed something else. I've been to another place in Torrance, and the flavor was better there! The soup was good, and I think the main thing I enjoyed most was all the side dishes! I loved the kimchi the most! I will give this place another chance in the future because their offer is perfect!

2/365 Review 1.02.25 Came here on Xmas eve for lunch w my mom & family. 12.24.24 It was a raining day and Tofu soup sounded like the perfect meal for the cold day. I was finally able to dine at a restaurant with the Cat Robot server. It brings you your side/Banchan dishes. What we Ordered ~ the Seafood Tofu soup was good. ~ Bulgogi was a bit on the sweeter side. Banchans were ok. I've had way better. My husband also mentioned the kimchi wasn't the best. There was only 2 server this afternoon. Service was a bit slow. It was pretty busy and constant flow of incoming traffic. Restaurant is big and spacious w booths tables and regular tables. In the same plaza as the Honey Pig. Lots of parking available. Tip Get on the Guestlist thru YELP to save time on wait.

Came here on a weeknight and it was pretty packed. We got seated quickly but our food took a little bit to come out. They had the cute robot servers there which were so cute. I ordered the Spicy Tofu Soup and it was delicious. The broth tasted so rich and was incredibly satisfying. Cool place!

Came here for lunch. Split the galbi combo with seafood tofu soup. Thought the sides were all great. Galbi was bomb and the soup was solid. Hot tea hit the spot cuz it was kinda cold in there. Service was good and the place was big and clean. Would come back if I was in the area.

This place is good but only just a teensy bit pricy. Refillable Bancham: 4/5 Bibimbap: 4/5 Assorted Seafood Tofu Soup without shrimp: 4/5 The oysters were good though! Galbi: 4/5 The galbi was pretty good!

I really enjoyed this! I wasn't feeling great and warm soondubu really hit the spot for me. We got to the restaurant around 11:45am and only had to wait 5-10min. The waitresses were pretty attentive and constantly asking if we wanted our Banchan to be refilled. The bean sprouts are my fave :) There is a damp-mop smell when you walk in? But that is my only complaint. The food and the service were great!

Kaju served one of, if not the best, holistic Korean dinner I've had in my life. First thing's first -- parking may be mildly difficult, depending on day/time. We went on a Friday night, and was circling around a little bit because the plaza is shared with Honey Pig and a Korean billiards spot. Check-in was easy; you just do it on the iPad at the front and wait your turn. The inside is beautiful, with traditional Korean decor and awesome ceiling lamps. I even love the shirts that the employees wear! Okay, so we opted to go for the dinner combo, which is what I would highly recommend. You get to choose two items, and this is the best way to try as much food for a good price. We were a party of two so we went for two combos, and therefore had four different dishes. We got: -Two tofu soups -Beef bulgogi -Bossam And my goodness, everything was incredible. And I wasn't even drinking! Bossam is usually served as a large portion, making it too expensive and too ridiculous to order sometimes. I appreciated that the dinner combo provided us a solid portion of the pork belly and napa cabbage. I think the most impressive part was the banchan. I think ALL of the side dishes were incredibly fresh--especially the kimchi--and flavorful. Out of the many Korean restaurants I've been to, I think Kaju's is the most ON POINT. The tofu soup was great, I have no general issues. The bulgogi was juicy, slightly sweet with a nice sesame oil taste, and it wasn't greasy at all. It was a nice item to eat to cut through the spicy soup. In terms of service, no major complaints, although I will say it's a bit confusing sometimes with a robot giving you food while human servers are also on the floor. Some tables are connected and you might end up sitting next to another party. And in some occasions my food ended up with the other party out of confusion. Aside from that hiccup, I think for the absolute value and quality of the food, there's no other place to go. I cannot stop thinking about how good it's been every visit.

The outside of Kaju Soft Tofu looks like any regular restaurant, but the inside takes you to a modern East Asia with the figurines and decor around the room and the robot cat serving your food. Here is where you can find delicious food and unlimited banchan. Their specialty is tofu soup, and their galbi tofu soup is my favorite dish from their menu. In fact, I like it so much that I have never tried any of their other soups. When I am with only one other person, we usually share a lunch or dinner combo of a small bowl of galbi tofu soup and a plate of meat. When I am with my family, we order a few items and the seafood pancake to share. Everything is so good, and the portion sizes are very generous. We always end up with leftovers because there is so much food and delicious banchan. You generally need to ask the staff to refill the banchan, but they are very fast and generous with it. Make sure to also ask for the barley tea towards the end of your meal. It gets poured into the rice pot, which loosens up the rice stuck to it and turns it into a rice soup. Kaju Soft Tofu does take-out and delivery, but dining in is the best experience because of the ambiance and unlimited banchan.
